O.O;
Well glad you made it through it at least, where we are if its a blizzard its considered a state of emergency and no one is allowed to be outside unless you absolutely have to be.

There's no such rule in Iowa, I had my high school send me home in a blizzard walking home, as well as forced me to walk TO school that day in the same blizzard. I even said something to the superintendent about it, and got told "I could just make you stay the full day" yeah that's the kind of junk they pulled in my old home town.

=.=;
If they said something like that to one of the kids where I'm from all hell would have broken loose from the parents, my real mother included.

There was a suggestion not to drive if you didn't have to, and my pastor cancelled church on Saturday. But I've been out on colder days (like these days AFTER the blizzard, which I ain't goin' out in!) than that blizzard day was. My face didn't even sting from being out. My legs kinda did from the exercise. LOL
Yeah, Spirit. They often close schools here on heavy snow days. Since people still have work, it's a little bit of a mess.
*low opinion of the current event* Do the owners know about such a thing as a life?

Event to me isn't so bad since you can get the fragments via posting and carols as long as you know your sheet music(thank goodness for several years of having done choir and piano playing XD)
Oh normally they would close the school, but that particular day I'm not sure if it was them trying to avoid doing so because they didn't want to extend the school year(they didn't end up extending it very long if at all) or if the guy just wasn't really caring. My mom about lost it when I got home and called her and told her what he'd pulled. She'd been really close to making me stay home that day as was, expecting them to cancel school, They got laid into big time for that one(though tmk they still pull it on occasion)
Bright side, every other time we had school get cancelled when weather conditions got worse and we were already at the school, mom got a friend to drive me home instead because she wasn't going to have that happen again.

i just hope the items are nicer than they were for the halloween event. i was really looking forward to that and was meh....it disappointed me for whatever reason. i suck at reading sheet music *read as: i don't know how at all*, so i just guessed at all of them. i got 3 right...i think? maybe only 2. anyone know if the carols are a set amount *like there are 6 different carols and random amounts of wrong ones*? cause that would be helpful just to look for the right carols from each shop every day.

*bookmarks for when she doesn't feel like having to read sheet music* XD yeah I get a little tired of it, especialy since white on blue isn't the best color scheme for me.
