well the thing is, he's probably partially right. a lot of people DO take advantage of these covid benefits and decide that since the govt is paying, why should i work? and bc of that, we get labor shortages and there's less stuff on the shelves at the store and stuff.

yeahh remote work is good but like...you also have to find out whether the works is only temporarily remote and where the original job site is...xD;; most remote work is temp, bc of covid.

Thing is, people have been thinking like that about people on SSI before Covid was a thing. Covid hits and now they use that as a cover to call people like me lazy.

Yes there are those taking advantage, but it's nothing new towards the disabled who don't look disabled.


I wish the website would keep everything with in range of me though. New Jersey is states away. xD Impossible for me to do when covid (if) ends. Which is why it's sad. I'm sure I could do that work.

i guess. although here we don't really have SSI. or at least i never heard of it here in canada. maybe its called something else here.

there should be a website for your state? or at the very least, you can filter your results right? like most job sites would have filters....

The filters don't seem to work right lately. THey worked fine last week. =/

Lol tried to clear your cache or something…xD;; that almost always works. A lot of junk gets saved there lol and slows down your computer.

I have my browser set to auto clear that each time I close the browser down. It's on their website's end.

I've tried others but they hide job details, forcing you to sign up for emails from them of jobs unrelated to what you search for. It's quite spammy.

Indeed is the latest one and it hasn't spammed me yet and it's how I've managed to find a few plausibles. It's just the filters broke. That or its because there are no jobs close enough so they ignore the filters... that could be a possibility.

Oh you use Indeed too. I use Indeed and that’s how i got my current. You have to be careful with filters, sometimes they just have their own refilter system or something. I think the only best way to find a job there is to narrow down your focus, especially like distance and stuff.

Yea, every time I try to refocus and narrow down the location, it removes my area all together. >A< I'll keep sifting through the way I have been till whatever's wrong has been fixed. o3o
