I have two super old Nintendo DS's ... no newer ones. They still work great and I have a few games for each. My super old Gameboy Color still works great too. Love playing classic pokemon games on that.

It's so amazing to me that handheld gaming consoles have been around long enough that there are games considered 'classics'. I tend to think 'classic' means 50+ years, so that'd be, what, Pong and Tetris and what else?

minesweeper, lemmings, pinball, chip are classic games I played on old pc's...
lemmings was just one I enjoyed as a kid, and wasn't one that came with Microsoft windows OS

Super Mario Bros, Sonic, and Zelda are my faves.
@River: Well, nothing I can do about that. I just don't have the money to go out and buy a DS. I have to help with bills and food and my daughter needs some new clothes because she's growing out of some of her old ones. And I don't get much in child support.

I guess if you wait long enough you can jump to the latest in the game hardware thing and just skip that generation of tech entirely.
I have so many things coming in ripe that I need to go harvest, and the neighbor's orchard ladder that he normally lets me borrow is broken. It's driving me nuts. I'm going to have to take out one of the scary rickety ladders not built for it, or lose most of the fruit that's out of reach.
Maybe I can find someone with a cider press and borrow that and wait for things to fall? (Can you use a cider press for more than apples?)

I haven't thought or heard about lemmings for sooo long! That used to be one of my favorite PC games to play in elementary school. I want to play it now!!
