I loved, and still love, Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service when I was growing up. Mayabe I need to do a Ghibli marathon one day with my niece and nephew, or some of my friends.

Have you read the book that Howl is based from?!? It's so different but so cool at the same time :D

Who has seen Porco Rosso?

No, I didn't even know it was based on a book.

Sorry, haven't seen that one.

The book is based off Diana Wynne Jones' book of the same name

Porco Rosso is really a great Studio Ghibli movie. It's got the usual action of some of the movies and the story is really good. I'd recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to see the new Ghibli movie. Was it called "When Marie was here" ? It looks so good!

I saw part of Spirited Away but fell asleep through the other part...I was on a bus, okay?
Totoro was cute, but the english captions confused things.

Studio Ghibli's movies are timeless in my opinion. I feel Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind does not get enough love. The entire theme about the environment and protecting it is clearly evident today.

i love studio ghibli. i actually got to watch spirited away on the big screen due to a special limited viewing in the US. other than that, i've seen a lot of other miyazaki movies... eventually, the goal is all of them.

There are books too. The movie is only like the first book.

Most of the Ghibli movies don't enough love :/ It's always either Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's or Kiki. These are the most well known but ones like Porco Rosso and the Cat one (sorry I can't remember the name ATM :/) are really good but just not as well known
