Does the even end on the midday of November 8th (tomorrow) or on the evening?

Somewhere around 11pm/midnight our time, which is GTM+1 probably.
Mostly depends on starkad though. The Tombstone will stay open for another 1 or 2 days after that though.

I'm just hoping I can collect enough candy to get everything I want, but just for sure; What happens with the candy you can't trade because it isn't enough for an item? Do they become foodpoints like with the easter event?

Thank you. That's a great idea. I remember during the first winter event I had gone to bed with just about enough snowballs for this one item I wanted... and then woke up to find that the event had ended (I foolishly thought it'd end when the end date came on my time, but of course, I live in the past). If I had known it was going to end, I would have bought something cheaper and used up my snowballs.

This is a total downer... on the end of th November 16, I'll finally have enough pumkins, 1 day later later. I'll just miss the halloween costume. v.v
