my bats just keep on coming! i still need about 500 more but im getting them real fast. plus giving out a lot of hugs in the process >.<

Every event someone says this, but for every event the chance of finding them is the same. ^_^
How many bats you find really just depends on how much you look for them.
If you log in once a day and browse around for 10-20 minutes, of course you won't find as many as someone who spends hours searching for them each day.

This made me feel kind of silly to read this as I am also having problems with finding bats and I usually don't at these kinds of events o_O

Although I've mentioned it before, a great way to find bats is to find a really long thread (and I mean 2k of pages kind of thread) and keep clicking next. Although you won't automatically find twenty bats within say... An hour, in some cases, you'll end up getting a lot. I spend an hour or two if I can maybe two or three times a day, and have found 311 bats. Keep going through the forum, keep your actions constant, like constant clicks, and you'll find lots of bats, as well as mats. (Since there'll be anti-bot tests XD.) Don't give up hope, you could go a hundred pages and not find a bat, as well as find a bat, go to the claim page and go back to the original page and find another instantly.
Keep clicking you'll get there. ^^

Not to mention fairies! I got my third fairy during this contest and the first two were also from clicking events. ^^
And there are threads with 10k+ pages. :D
I really love these events. If you count out how many bats you'll need every day for the sets that you want, it's not that difficult. ^^
I'm aiming for three sets, and that's around 30 bats every day during the event.
