How? As far as I've learned, 'niece' is the daughter of your parents' sibling, 'nephew' is the son of your parents' sibling, and 'cousin' is the child of your parents' sibling in general. xD

Never heard of it, what kind of park is it?

C: Hey! Interview went pretty well today; I’m not entirely convinced that I'll get it, however, because over 20 people showed up for it. I was like, ohhh crap. xD

But as far as I’m concerned, I coped well with it. I think I need to practice being more forward, though. Since I come across as too quiet in big groups, especially when there’s loud people there.

Anyhoo, I’ll find out by the end of the week if I was successful or not; either way it’s experience and I’m going to continue job hunting over the course of the next few days. <3

And congrats Merry! I’m glad your interview was awesome. I think that going the Flight Attendant route sounds like the best option too. :mccute:

Let me explain Merry :D

Nihal is my cousin. She is the daughter of my dad's brother.

But Laura is my niece. She is the daughter of MY brother :P And nephew would be the son of my brother.

@Nihal - Hello! ^_^ How are you today?

And yup, Julez is right. c: Son/Daughter = Mother/Father, just as Nephew/Niece = Auntie/Uncle.

OH MY GOD NIHAL WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME THAT IS THE MOST TERRIBLE BLOODY WEBSITE I HAVE EVER SEEN. OH. MY. GOD.

Awww Lua who knows, there's gotta be people who'll get the job, why wouldn't it be you? <3
I'll keep rooting for you. And good luck with the job hunting, I hope it won't be needed for long!

And thanks :p
I hope so too. That would seem like the easiest path to follow at the moment. I just hope I won't be too old by the time I have my ATPL then...

Lol? You Germans are weird...

Figures. We've just got "neven" (nephews) and "nichten" (nieces) and they're practically every family member that's not something else. I'm not too familiar with family so I wouldn't be sure. But we haven't even got a unisex word for it.
And I swear, the way I said it is the way I learned it in school, in our English classes o.O
So I don't get it. Sorry for misunderstanding then.
I still think a cousin in this case is more like a sibling though since you're the same generation. But that's just me. x3

Yea we also have the words Neffe and Nichte. But I already explained what they mean so. It's actually pretty easy to me.

Take a look here, maybe that will be more clear then:
