So it practically ends at the thirteenth due to it being midnight?
I've been busy with internship even though I only need to adjust one colour, so it'd help lots. :qt:

If anyone wants to feel my pain: At this point I have replied to 57 (!) PMs with entries that had to get rejected because the people who submitted the entries did either not bother to read the rules at all, or did not understand how layering works. :mcsad:
Remindes me why after every contest we have I tell myself "Never again!". :mccry:

I am so sorry for you Frin. I think the ones with the layering problems meant well, just didn't think of all the layers.

And we all appreciate you doing these contests so please don't make this the last one <3

But I hope you don't think these contests aren't worth it every time you have one. :mcshock: "
I'm sure we all are so grateful for these opportunities, and very much appreciate your time and energy for making the community feel more involved! :mcglee:

Layering can actually be kind of tricky when one begins with a design in their head, rather than starting by figuring out what will work. I think some people are afraid to ask in the official threads whether or not something will work as an accepted entry. And maybe that's something that could be strongly encouraged in the first post in the future? "mchappy"

So it seems I'm also guilty of that. Sorry. I did read the rules and I believe I kind of understand the layering. My first entry I started making around the beginning of the contest and when sending I knew it might be declined because it would be difficult to make insect eyes work with wigs because of eyebrows. As for the skin I did write it's skin or marks as we already have this colour of skins on KofK (Gray and Snow White). Also I'm not sure if albino as a colour is fine so if I have enough time today I might try to exchange skin thingy for another item, reshape + recolour eyes and change sets colours to gray and white. I guess it would be safest to change to white unless it's stated that albino: white skin/hair + red/pink eyes is allowed as a colour scheme (what would be nice to know even just for future reference)

Maybe people just need a more detailed explanation on how all the layering works. I would be happy to make one for you some time.

As much as its sad you've had to reject so many, I really happy to have this opportunity to make avatar ideas. I find it a lot of fun making them. I would make like 10 more sets if I had more time. XD

This contest is love. :qh: :chick: :deer:

:( I'm afraid I was going to enter but my durn printer died...alas, I have no other way of uploading them onto the computer, so I guess I'll just have to perfect my ideas between now and next year. *sigh* Oh well. Good luck everyone else :)
