Yes! They can. They work in the same way as humans. I think maybe they would stay indoors and not see anyone because it wouldn't be very cool to sniffle through a dramatic lecture.

I think certain people are more gifted at magic than others, so a magimelody is a particular form of magic (and a very powerful one) but wizards like Logi use magic that isn't a magimelody, and as he said, there are people in the Temperiorum that can use magic.
So, you're right. He's a high priest because he's gifted at magic, and the Temperiorum taught him. Except they call it 'divine power' - magic is illegal in Temporis.

If I were Kieran I would be panicking like mad. It does feel like a dark cloud hanging over him in the comic (your really good at setting the mood)
