Yeah, we are really pretty busy. I work for a really big library system, and we get in over 100 books from other libraries every day. We send out nearly that many of our own to other libraries, too.
Our whole building was pretty much emptied out for the eclipse. The library director (highest in the chain of command except the library board) was even up on the roof taking pictures of it.
I got the yard mowed today and that was about it. It's supposed to rain all day tomorrow.

Hello Viva! Yeah, I did at least see something of it, even if it was slight. :P I'm doing good just ready for this week to be over, you?
That's a lot of book traffic! I need to mow mine soon, it's been growing like crazy.

We keep getting rain. Usually by this time of year the yard has dried up and we only need to mow it every 3-4 weeks. Mainly just to hack the weeds off. I have to mow something nearly every week this year.

It's been rainy here too. We always have to mow every weekend. xD It shoots up fast. I dunno if it's just the type of grass or what.

I think Dad had decided to get a new mower. We have two, but the big one with the grass catcher gets plugged up if the grass is just a little too wet (which it nearly always is) and the littler one can't handle the taller grass (like when it rains all weekend and we can't get the mowing done).

Woah that is a lot of books! I see why you're so busy at work.
Haha Cinnabear this week has barely just started!

I'm doing well, just been applying to jobs and reading and stuff, pretty boring. ^^
Man I've never had the experience of mowing the lawn since I live in the desert! We have fake grass in front of my house and lots of rocks. Sounds like quite a chore though haha.

Well, I'm on vacation next week so I guess that's why I'm trying to rush thru this one, haha! Aw man I hate doing job apps, good luck in your search though! I hope you will find something you like. (:
Oooh a desert you say? That sounds cool! I live in a sub tropical climate, so there's lots of green here! And it's always humid... always. People that move down here say it's hard for them to breathe for awhile.
We just bought a new mower because... the one my dad gave me... we didn't know to put oil into it. :-" And then when we did we flooded it?

Pfft!! Ok, now Dad is talking about paying the neighbor to come over and mow the yard instead of buying a new mower.
I'm not sure I'd like living in the desert. I think I'd miss my green too much, although not having to mow would be a plus.

I applied to three jobs yesterday night and this morning I got e-mails from all three of them asking for an interview!

Only thing is that they require in-person interviews but I'm across the country (not sure if I mentioned this before, but I'm trying to go someplace new hehe), so looks like I might have to go there and stay with a friend first while sorting that out.
I actually really miss the green! I don't actually like it here that much, but my parents moved here for work and I'm just staying with them a bit while I get my life sorted out.

Weird people always knock on my door and ask if I need my yard mowed, I guess I don't do a good job. xD
I dunno how I'd feel about the desert. It's really cold at night then really hot and dry during the day right?
Well, I hope you get a job you like Viva!
