I was lucky to get a groupon voucher for it for christmas and Peter and I went and it was divine, we'd go back again.
Thank you very much! It looks pretty good.
Everyone seems to recommend me either Japanese of French restaurants in Sydney. I find it very interesting, especially considering I'm French and the husband is Japanese XD
hah I didn't know you are French :3
I really liked it, like we had 3 course meal..
I remember I had this lovely salmon and something else entree (I forgot what it was haha)
Then Kangaroo steak thing.. delicious. I know probably not really French but I'd never had roo before. I would again.
then we had this lovely dessert.
I'll go look at the menu to find the exact things we had. Though Peter had snails for entree (I couldn't), and salmon for main and same dessert.
Found what I had -
Entree -
SALMON ROULADE
filled with cheese mousseline, served with potato nest and passion fruit dressing.
Peter had for entree -
ESCARGOTS DE BOURGOGNE
dozen snails marinated in herb-infused court bouillon, oven baked in garlic butter
Main -
me -
KANGAROO FILLET
(recommend rare) on garlic pommes puree with a Dijon mustard and honey bordelaise sauce.
Peter -
CITRUS MARINATED TASMANIAN SALMON
served on crab meat risotto and roasted pepper coulis.
Dessert -
me and Peter each-
CHEF CHURNED HAZELNUT AND PRALINE ICE CREAM
on sable breton and Grand Marnier caramel.
I did take pics if you want...
