It's about this woman that ends up breaking up with her bf that cheated on her but she didn't tell her sister about it because her sister is having a Christmas Eve wedding and didn't want to ruin it. Theyre having a competition in a small town for the wedding, all sorts of snow activities and such. She cant go with her ex now and she ends up telling her boss about what happened and they end up "fake dating" for the competition and wedding. And well, they actually start falling for each other
I hope I made sense. If I didn't, Im sorry

"Fake dating" and then propinquity takes over, that's a classic!
Which can be a lot of fun. :)
I got hooked onto a total wish-fulfillment translation of a Korean webnovel (I think they put it out fast because now there's a manga or something), "I was Mistaken as a Monster Genius Actor".
Which is entirely brainless, but weirdly fun.
(I don't actually know much of anything about the entertainment industry so I suspect a lot of it is going over my head.)
There are times when I get really frustrated by the short-sightedness of the MC, though.
Spoiler
He gets a system that lets him instantly learn languages at a native level and gain crazy good abilities, and the doofus immediately gets distracted by Fame And Fortune and doesn't take advantage of it!
...but mostly I recognize it's supposed to be a story of Brainless Joe Schmo, the stereotypical Mr. Ordinary, who suddenly makes it big.
Which if you're busy chasing knowledge and skills instead of demonstrating them to the world, does make it hard to show off.
Which is apparently the ultimate goal in life?
Bit confusing, really, but whatever.
Anyhow, aside from the few moments when my brain briefly engages long enough to find that frustrating, it's a blast.

I feel like alot of series these days are just the same cookie cutter series lol. It’s the same stuff over and over again. Lol
I’ve only been reading some webnovels lately lol. I was reading the Korean BL “Married for Now” earlier. It’s on Webnovel and Chereads. “The Hunter wants to live quietly” is also good. It’s also BL tho, woops. XD

The one I've started into right now is "I Have a Shop of Infinite Resources" which is one of those isekai'd-Into-A-Zombie-Apocalypse-With-A-Cheat ones.
This one has a FL instead of a ML though, so I expect the inter-character relationships to be of slightly higher importance than the fight scenes.
And it's completed, so I don't have to worry about a sudden hiatus leaving the work unfinished.

So far I'm enjoying it because she's close with her family and all of them (mother, father, brothers) are unique characters that have their own growth arcs. So it doesn't feel like a whole story that just revolves around a single lead with everyone else being simply foils.
Which is nice.

interesting! a lot of series have it where they're not close with their family bc they betrayed them in their past life before they regressed.
was reading a random BL werewolf original lol.
