Is there much of a difference between the fan and official translations?

The fan translation actually started after the official translations started. I remember volume 6 had just finished being released and we were waiting on vol 7 to start, i got impatient and went looking for the fan releases and they were like 2 volumes behind. they may be farther ahead though, I'd have to look and see

So, the fan WN translation chapter is 348. Judging from the title it's about volume 6. JNC just finished translating vol 11 so they're still pretty far behind.

so are they gonna have the same content? 8U i dunno if i want to reread everything lol, hahaha. kitchen novel does pretty good, the translators apparently cut off a lot of extra/repetitive stuff....xD since apparently the japanese is filled with.......lots of filler lol. dunno how that will translate in the official translation.

uh....i'm still reading? but they just finished the second dungeon, the one with the hydra boss. xD

o3o it's not filler, they're side stories that give a different POV from some other characters and there's one side story that is about a secret hidden moving around liquor shop which i think ties into the main story eventually. The liquor shop side stories are fun reads.

I think the WN and LN are pretty much identical, but certain names (basically the wolf) have a different spelling. Fer/Feru is Fel for example.

Seems your in Vol 6 as well. Aveling Dungeon is vol 6. I miss read which dungeon was what, so the WN is about vol 9. my bad.

Ah i see. Well if they’re nearly identical, its possible i don’t have to reread the entire thing lol. Maybe, if i had the time, i’d reread it. XD although given how much “work” i get at work….well i might have SOME time to spare lol.

they're mainly complaining that Mukouda isn't turning into a battle hungry nut like his beasts are. "He's still a wuss!!!"


=w= as someone who's read the japanese novel... he may not like fighting but he will come up with some amazing battle plans when he feel it's needed.. fufufufufufu
