Yes, this is making sense to me :)
For comparison, my sister is almost nine years older than me and has three kids, so I totally get that "more experienced in life" thing ;) but on the other hand, being around her has made me more mature in my teenage years, so I'd say it was a good thing for me.
And yes, of course you might have different friends because of the age, but they're just her friends while you are her sibling - they will never get into that special place in her heart that she has probably reserved for you.
Also, doughnight eyes: I think they look cool, but also really creepy, somehow lifeless, as if the person was frozen inside or something.
