I've found a few romance novels I liked. But mostly it's because I didn't realize they were romance until I read the back and was like "oh. It's romance. Okay then".
They read more like fantasy adventure.

That's how the story by Anne McCaffrey was for me, The Restoree and Colura. I realized AFTER reading them that they had elements of deep romance. As does her Rowan books <>
