That's fair enough. Like I said, opinion. We all have those and it'd be boring if it weren't so.

I prefer having that balance where at times I allow my story and characters to have freedom to do what they want, and to prove that they know better (it also makes the writing so much more fun for me personally and gives this sort of almost childlike joy and play of imagination like it's your good friend), but also be able to keep them under control when I won't allow that. So it's not 100% one way or another. Too much control can end up making the story feel rather... wooden, I suppose could be the word to use. Pretty picture without a soul. And no control at all could end up with one big mess. I kind of see it this way: Control is the adult and freedom (not sure what else to call it) is the child. If it makes any sense. But again, just my opinion, nothing else.

I've got only 28 more to go and then can get the extra set of flowers to sell right now and get more out there....

Well I think you're doing pretty well in my opinion. I think I would maybe get one set of extras at most, but then focus on first getting all the items. If I were aiming for that of course.
