It's always possible to cheat. Sadly, CAPTCHA's aren't almighty.

Even a human verification must be coded is my guess. One of those images is the right one so I take it that can be retraced in the code, and that's something a computer can do awfully well. I take it that's the case, but I'm not too sure though.

Yeah, the lags are noticeably less!

The site is still lagging for me. I must be very unlucky because I can't seem to find any eggs. It must just be me. I've been clicking around like crazy but they just don't seem to pop up. Oh, well. What are you going to do?

You are not the only one. I've been here several hours already, and only got less than 10 eggs during that time. (Zupprika, how do you manage to find them all?

The site is still a little bit laggy, but i suppose it will wear off when the egghunt event ends. Too bad Firn and starkad possibly have to invent some other kinds of events, so something like yesterday's server collapses can never happen again. One possibility is that we'll never get any special events again, just because there's always cheaters ruining all the fun.
EDIT. And Merrymaking please remove that scary angel from your signature. I really start to be afraid, since I see it almost on all KOfK forums.

I can do everything I need to now, even a bit of egghunting. I'm happy. The little lag that's still here, I can live with.

We didn't have a server collapse. KofK moved to a new server and it took some time to set it up. There were some unexpected problems.
We have many different kinds of events anyway. There were some users, who wanted to have a clicking-event again, so here it is. But last years easter-event was collecting up to 5 eggs per day, which were hidden on the site. Much better (less time consuming) if you ask me and no bot-danger.

actually we did have a server collapse, the server move was rushed for that reason.

Yes, the server collapsed completely 2 days ago.
I think the misunderstanding comes from the fact that I had written April 1st in my Hangout as scheduled date for the server move, but it was a mistake, which I corrected as soon as I noticed it. The planned date for the server move was April 14th, the date when our contract for the Knuffel and Wuffel servers runs out. (which we now still have to pay even though we cannot use them 
)
Starkad had already started setting up the new server sometime at the end of last month, but it was, and unfortunately still is, far from being completed and there are many errors occurring because instead of having the additional 11 days that were planned for the setting up of the new Kylian server, starkad had to do it in 16 hours, because our old Knuffel server collapsed completely under the weight of the load.

Yea, I didn't mean that this little lag ruins everything. For me, it's hundreds of times better to have a little lag, than no server at all! So, I am also happy with the situation as it is right now.
Eeeh... You're just too mean. I can't even look at it anymore..!
