They'll just probably give me tight shirts, wallets, and perfume like they always do. My father would keep telling me that "It's not smart" or "It's a waste" or "It doesn't have any use" until I run out of hope of getting it. My entire family would think that I'm like that other cousin of mine who kept spending money for useless stuff just to show off. They always do that >_>
Even for a simple request for a lime green laptop (first time I ever really asked for something), still no. I've asked so many times. Still no. >_>
Guh, why do I keep talking about depressing things nowadays X.x

And a t-shirt isn't exactly a nice gift in my humble consideration...

Why, a laptop is a hell of a useful thing! o.O
Or is it because it's got a color instead of white or black?
I gotta admit, I was looking at a lime green laptop once too, and for a moment it made me doubt between my MacBook and that laptop, also because it was like €700,- cheaper. And let's say that one Euro is worth more than one Dollar. xD
Went for the MacBook in the end, but it's a perfect example of a waste of money and why the lime green laptop would have been better. :D
Because we live in depressing times.

I only need one wallet. A wallet that's worth more than what I have in it XD
(Though I only got it from my grandma)
The wallets they give me are too girly for my tastes. To the inventory they go!
And shirts ... tight shirts ... I can barely wear them. I think they expect me to be flat chested when I wear those >_>
I don't have a job. I'm 16. A Pre-Dentistry student. And I'm not qualified for any decent jobs here yet XP
And a laptop ... I had my eye on the VAIO lime green one O.o
And by the way ... I don't think I can save money for the BJD since I only get 4oo pesos for my weekly allowance. That's about 10 USD per week >_>

Well that's way more useless then, isn't it...
I wasn't talking about decent jobs. When I was 16 I've worked as a paperboy, librarian, cashier and packer. Not decent, didn't pay much, but at least I had some spare money :p
Yeah, that sounds familiar. I think I've been doubting over the same one x'D
Well okay it might take a year. But at least you have a tiny income. :p
Are you creative? You might want to try making jewelry or something and sell it online?

Hmm ... well ... paperboys should be able to drive a motorbike here ... I can't apply to become a librarian or those other stuff ... they all want people 18 years old and above ... The best I could really do for now is ... well ... work as a student assistant ... but I won't get any salary from that >_>
And selling stuff online for real money really sin't my ... forte XD

Oh wow, I didn't realize that o.O
I could do my paper rounds by bicycle. And for the rest you need to be 16 here, but sometimes there are exceptions and you can try to get a small job at 14.
And doing volunteer work can be fun, but if you need money that indeed isn't exactly what you are looking for...
I hope you can figure out a way, I find this rather sad. :(
