We get channels but we don’t have Netflix. Not that I care overmuch lol.

light: Yeah, flooding. Not to that extreme where people had to get evacuated

I have to have stuff to watch or I would lose my mind. lol. I spend about 90% of my time at home. And a large amount of that I'm alone. So shows and movies help pass the time.


It's happened here before. I've never been evacuated but some people have. I used to live on a hill so I've been stuck up the hill before. That sucked.

How about cooking? I know cooking takes a long time and helps pass time?

Light; I know how that feels. I can’t really watch anything, but I read and pass time by playing games that I’m able to.

Nankuii - Cooking is too strenuous for me. I can't stand up for very long and I can't lift heavy stuff. I can sometimes help my husband with prep if he brings me stuff. Like mixing and chopping. Stuff like that. Though my fingers like to pop out of joint if I cut up too much stuff.

It do suck.

I am just so glad that I have so many options for entertainment. I can read, play games, watch tv/movies. It's nice.

Oo! I have an idea! What if you get one of those virtual reality headsets and instead of playing games on it you watch movies and stuff. They are like an inch from your eyes. Do you think you could see them then? And they have stuff that has subtitles too. That way you can read what's going on.

I use subtitles for everything I watch. It's hard to understand what's being said without them. And I miss like 80% of background noises. lol.

light; the problem is my dry eye, actually, or subtitles would work. I have to blink frequently to keep it moist or I get cornea problems.

I did find a site recently with a ton of transcripts! It’s fan compiled, and the ones I’ve seen are great.

I do watch planet earth 2. It’s amazing. I love the bears.

I honestly miss some lines when I watch movies in movie theaters because I can't understand them >>;;
