Er, something to do with Scooter not being liked to be picked up and bad experiences Spirit had with mini pinschers. x'D

Yeah pretty much what ML said. And I'm actually not against giving other dogs of the breed a chance, I just have learned not to expect them to auto like me XD, I have better luck with pure breed dobermans XD.

Actually, the minis are the older breed. Dobermans had other things mixed in to make them big.

Lol, yeah I know, I just have better luck with them overall, I used to be around a purebred doberman when I was really little because of my grandma's work having one around their office as a guard dog. It was a real sweetie though.

lol, its because people perceive them as vicious that they work as guard dogs. XD

Lol, Yeah I know they do, but the breed itself is actually very gentle, they only are nasty when either A) trained to guard or B) badly abused and neglected. It's basically a thing both dobys and Rotty's have in common, you have to train them to be mean, they aren't normally mean.

lol, I know from personal experience. XD The first and only Rottie I ever met his head came to my chest (he was the runt of the litter) and the owner had to let him out every time someone came over because he would pee everywhere. x'D But he was just a giant ball of love that did not like being left alone. Sadly he died not long after we met him, his best friend (who was a cat) had died not long before we met him and one day when his owner wasn't home he chewed the squeaker out of his toy and choked on it.
I never got to see him again.
And I've never seen a dobberman in person, but I remember Road Rovers and I thought that the dobberman in that one was just a silly goof that liked to act tough. XD
