In this instance, anyhow. It's a common nick-name, we've got.... three in our family who use that as use-name. Wait, no, four.

Sandy was my mother in law. Her actual name was Sandra but we called her Sandy. Or mommy Sandy. Her middle name was Dee so we sang that song from grease a whole lot too. lol.

Ooohhh...I think this is the first time I've heard you mention her name. But then again, I haven't always been able to find our conversations after a while because I get busy and miss a lot. lol

Joslyn will be out for the summer soon. The 22nd is her last day. Then next year she goes into second grade. I'm a sad mommy.

I think I got tired of saying mother in law or Kevin's mom so much so I just started using her name. It's a lot easier to type.

Aw, why sad? It's good that she made it into the second grade. Think how sad you would be if she didn't pass.

My niece graduated high school this year. I feel so old. It's so weird imagining her doing adult stuff because she's an adult now.

Yah just gotta teach them the best that you can and hope that they don't lose their lessons or common sense when they're alone. lol.

How old is she? 7? Have you told her about periods yet? I started mine at 9 and I am so glad I was told about it earlier. I would have been terrified if I hadn't had any information going in. My mom and sister started theirs at 8 so idk how that went for them.

Yes. I'm hoping she'll be smarter than me and my siblings. lol

Yes. No. I didn't get mine till I was 12ish? And I've never heard of anyone starting so early. But I do need to worn her. She doesn't like bleeding and will freak over a scratch even if it isn't bleeding. I did tell her she might get boobs soon. I started to develop a little in first grade and had to wear training bras till I was 10 or 12 then went to regular bras. It's been a long while. And that was a hilarious conversation. I still die when I think of it.
