I met a Doberman named Elmo once. He was at the vet's office, and he was crying softly because the kitty that was there didn't want to be friends.

I've met many Rotties. They're mastiffs, so actually it's not mean that's hereditary, it's protectiveness. I've heard of big male Rotties eating rocks because the toddler fed them to them. XD

Oh dear, I feel bad for that rottie then. o.o; And honestly, this rottie wasn't mean or anything, he was just a giant fluff ball of love. XD He'd whimper when there's wasn't people around and he actually broke the window above the door when his owner left. x'D He was able to reach above the door when he stood on his hind legs, so yeah. x'D Though my real mom is terrified of dogs that size, and even medium sized dogs, she's afraid they are going to bite her. *facepalm* They are just as likely to bite as a small dog! D:<

Actually, small dogs are more likely to bite. It's because their instinct is messed up by their size and they're afraid the world's out to get them.

My mom doesn't seem to think that, she thinks that the smaller they are the less likely it will hurt. =.=

I'm with Tam, small dogs are a lot more prone to it, they also tend to be the ones that enjoy barking at random people the most(at least in my experience) I have more small dogs bark at me when I walk to a store, then i do the large ones, I have only ONE large dog that barks at me, and it wags it's tail while doing so(though I won't go near it because I don't know it nor it's owner and while i'm sure as it's a golden retriever that it's probably a very nice dog, I don't go near dogs with the owner not present)

That's always a good idea, because even if their tail is wagging they might still bite. :3

Exactly, and I've had a dog come at me before that was wagging it's tail and growling at the same time. Was trying to walk to school and this large black dog(not sure if it was a Purebred dog or what it was) came at me and the little girl I was walking to school with me and tried to attack us, only reason either of us got away from it without getting bit was because a school bus driver pulled up just in the nick of time and honked at the dog to disorrientate it till we got safely across the street and far enough away to get out of it's viewpoint. Was not fun having to do that either, especially when said little girl wanted to go and pet the dog before I told got her to realize said dog wasn't friendly.
