I remind him constantly. I've reached the point of merely believing there is nothing that will change his ways and we need to get a cleaner. I would hire one now but I know soon we'll be at the stage of starting a family and etc so I want to save as much money as possible for that. I'll probably need a nanny then for at least half the day as well so I can work, so I would like to hire a housekeeper who will clean and look after the baby and I don't have to pay two different people.

You said you shared the idea of hiring help, right? But did you tell him what you told me? Maybe the financial argument would help him get it together? Finances often make men open their eyes.

Tbh I'd love to have a sometimes hire someone to do the dishes for me. And just get someone to give the bathroom a good scrub. I'm terrible at cleaning the shower and toilet but I still try.
Which reminds me.. probably do that tomorrow.

I told him everything, it just goes in one ear and out the other.
Plus to him the idea of "soon" might as well be "in 50 years" for as much as he plans ahead about anything. So long as it's not right now, or someone else might do it, he doesn't give it a second thought.
I blame his mother. He was the baby of the family and she did everything for him because he was her last child to cling onto. Somehow he doesn't get that I'm not the same after 5 years already.
(I can't believe it, it's actually our 5 year anniversary on Friday XD I got him a present about a month ago but didn't wrap it yet and now I'm unexpectedly at work all week, so I can't wrap it without him knowing D:)

@mem I did those things already too ;_; I've even threatened to leave. In fact I almost did leave. But every time he gets better for a short time and then forgets again. No way around it, it seems.
He won't find it, it's hidden inside the folds of my yoga mat XD It's a slim book so it fits right in there hahaha. Also it's still inside the delivery packaging so even if he saw it he wouldn't know what it was XD
Argh Christmas, I don't want to think about it. It's too close by far.

Aw, then you probably have to just deal with it
Ash never puts his dirty dishes away right after eating and he doesn't rinse it in the sink. Okay, I can put up with not putting them away immediately, I get lazy sometimes (although I rather get up and have the plate out of my sight), but damn it man, don't let the food leftovers dry out! I have to wash that somehow, have mercy! ;___;
It's small, but annoying, to me personally.
That's a good hiding spot!
Lol, yea, in October, when I saw the stores and supermarkets with the christmas decorations already, I was like "hey, that's too early you guys
" but now, that's it's literally everywhere, and I don't even have any ideas (neither do I want to spend my saved up money), then I'm just hnnn >n<* And our anniversary is on Dec 26th, it makes things complicated, but I think it's only in my head

I somehow got really OCD over time, I can't stand dirt everywhere. I look at it out of the corner of my eye instead of getting on with work 
if I have a moment to relax, then I really start to see all the places that need cleaning urgently.
That is complicated XD means two sets of gifts, right? My cousin has her birthday on Christmas Eve so that's always been awkward too.
