You have to account for any money you receive, unless it's under the table. And if I get free money then I get less back from my taxes. You'd have to talk to a tax expert to better understand.

I don't think money from websites count since you get it in the form of gift cards

We prefer a yard sale, don't have to worry about making sure everything is put in correctly just to sell. We had a bad experience with selling on eBay.
