My aunt told me she'll never use the internet because of trolls and such.
That's just something you need to deal with.
The internet is amazing and helps a lot of people.
There's assholes in real life, are you going to refuse to go out because of that?

I remember someone making a serious comment, and someone said something like "You have an anime icon, so your opinion instantly doesn't mean shit!"
And if you make a typo or something, people will comment and just correct you or insult the fuck out of you for it.
I find that unnecessary and....abnormal.
Most are trolls, but some are serious.
I mean if I give you the wrong straw, are you going to assault me xD?

People get so offended these days.
And I like to make everyone happy, but people are getting ridiculous.
Like how people said Mrs. Doubtfire was offensive to transgender and anyone with gender issues.
They were just freaking out about it and how unjust and offensive and ignorant it was.
It's a comedy. And a cute one. And the meaning behind it wasn't offensive - it was to let him see his kids that he LOVED.
People make something out of nothing >__>

I feel like assholes hide themselves more when they're in real life. Or they used to. I feel like people are ruder now. But I know I'm still meaner online than in real life.

Anything in order to invalidate your point. Recently I posted a story of how my boyfriend got me flowers two days in a row after I explicitly said I don't want flowers. This story was in response to how women don't say what they want. I said what I don't want, and even then my boyfriend didn't believe that I meant what I said. Then people started saying that it's my fault that he got me flowers because I didn't say I was allergic and that I didn't say what I meant because I didn't say I'm allergic. What? I said I don't want flowers and I meant I don't want flowers. Why does the reason I don't want flowers change whether I meant my statement or not? If I weren't allergic to flowers would it be okay to ignore my request not to get me flowers just because I'm not allergic? *shakes head*

What? It wasn't a movie about a transgendered person. It was a movie about a person who was desperate to stay in their children's lives. I don't see how it's offensive. Maybe if he was getting off on dressing as a woman. But he wasn't. It got him in more trouble in the end. I'm sad that Robin Williams is gone but that makes me glad he's not around to see that crap.

>XD
Reminds me of when people say "If she says leave her alone, she actually means to stay and talk."
Uh, no, I mean leave me alone >___>
That is dumb. No flowers is no flowers.
Doesn't need to have an explanation xD

Right? People get so triggered over everything these days xD
I'll never get over people bullying an artist to trying to commit suicide because she draw a character skinnier.

Exactly, right? If I say "I don't want flowers; I'm allergic," doesn't that sound like I don't want flowers BECAUSE I'm allergic? I don't want flowers even if they were artificial. Fake flowers are flowers I don't have an excuse to throw out.

That is messed up! What! I'm glad something like that didn't happen to me because I drew a super thin person some years ago.

Less flowers twice as much candy 8T

Right? I can't believe people do that.
If I don't like an art piece, I ignore it xD

Exactly! I love it when my man gets me chocolate the day after Valentine's day. I'm not even kidding. It means more chocolate for me.

People are so extreme. It's ridiculous.

I'm a chocoholic xD
I don't like many sweets that aren't chocolate >>

Right. And the creators of the show got involved and the "fans" started bashing them too.

I love all kinds of sweets but chocolate is my favourite. Or it used to be. Lately I've been craving more fruity stuff.

What show? I thought we were talking about an art piece? Was it a fan art? Did someone draw a character skinnier than they are in the show?

I used to...now I just like chocolate xD
I'll eat vanilla cupcakes, but I prefer chocolate.
I also only like foody scents.

Steven Universe. The artist made fanart and drew Rose Quartz skinny-ish.
So they bullied the artist for it, and when the creators of the show defended the artist, the "fans" attacked them too xD

I like some floral stuff. I have this sweet pea body mist that I love. I never use it, though. I don't like citrusy scents.

Oh, so they drew a character that's already established as a different shape? Yeah. That's not cool. It's even less cool to tell them to commit suicide, but come on. Love for all body types, man. If they're just no good at drawing different body shapes, then fine. But if they can and they just made her skinnier because they prefer skinny women? I think that's not cool, either.
