Where my dad works, a day off without calling is a point
A called in day is half a point
Seven points you're fired. In theory, anyway, but there's a lot of incompetent nincompoops with 8+ points that are still there cuz the ad reads $700+/week and idiots are going "yay free money", do the walk-through and "oh nvm I have to work for it" and decide not to
Something like medical leave is different

There's also safety points, where seven and fired
There's a lot of small half point, one point things
There's also a good amount of automatic firing stuff
Such as breaking a lift
Or shearing off a concrete post with a lift

Well in my case I totally understand them firing me. It sucks because they were all due to pain and fatigue from my EDS, and I really had thought I had gotten everything taken care of, but I guess not. FMLA and all that jazz.

I haaate point systems. Especially super rigid ones where if you're like 5 seconds late it's still a point. So horrible.

So I've been doing a lot of paperwork. I think that getting unemployment will cover most of my bills so that's nice. I guess I'm going back to donating plasma to fill in the gaps. I haaate donating plasma. It's so exhausting for me. And I get awful scars from it since only one vein cooperates and actually bleeds. Lol.

And I guess I'll promote my perler business some more in hopes of sales.

Being late is half a point unless you give advance warning to your lead

Someone for a while pulled a stunt of maybe calling a friend of theirs who also worked there but wasn't a lead by any stretch of imagination, and then calling HR to complain that he got pointed anyway
Finally someone got suspicious, did some investigating, and the twit got busted and slapped at six points
I think the dude left shortly after because he couldn't handle having to be ~responsible~

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been gone for so long. There’s just not enough time in the day to do everything I want. Hope you are all well!

Being responsible is very difficult sometimes. Lol.

No worries. I feel the lack of time. It sucks. I am alright. How is everyone else?

I should have been more productive today, but it's rainy and I just want to sleep.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend!

It's really hot and sticky here now. Good thing the pools open this weekend!
