Well there goes using the Dragon slayers (Escaflowne) too take half that up, all their names are in katakana.

Katakana and Hiragana have the same sounds... But if you mean because the names aren't Japanese, you can still write them in Hiragana, but you have to add letters in. <<;; It can be hard. :x

For example, Allen Crusade would be something like Aren Kuruseiduru. >>; (I just looked up Escaflowne on Wikipedia >>;). Sorry, I'm not very good at it. ^^; I also didnt know how his last name was pronounced, so I didnt try it. >>; You can try doing this and then writing the names in Hiragana. They may not be correct tho.
