But that's the problem with desire: If you do not get what you want/planned on having at a later point in life, you are disappointed when you reach this point and you haven't achieved anything yet...

*crawls in* Hiiii Sorry for not being so active lately. I sleep in a lot and yesterday I had to go do some work stuff then I finally met up with my bestie! We've spent about 9 hours together - still not enough x.x That's probably because we last saw each other on New Year's XD But her schedule has gotten clearer now, so here's hoping for more frequent meetings I showed her the Kingdom! I could not shut up and she was like wooow, there's a lot going on here! But she said it looks fun so yay XD Maybe (if I remind her, lol) she'll join us after she defends her master's, but we'll see. She's always busy anyways

It's surprisingly hard to estimate how long something will take. Probably because there are many factors that are big mean surprises, because such is life Plus, humans be stupid sometimes.


I sent an application for script/dialogue/monologue/character/etc writer for games... But I think I should've added a cover letter even tho it wasn't required... I should've... *hits her head on the wall repeatedly*
Then I had 4 more job offers saved, and after re-reading them today I decided to not apply for half. I wrote a cover letter for one (but I don't think it's good: too long, off topic and wtf a bit) but didn't send it yet. I'm still thinking about the other offer if I even want to apply.
I got called form one place, but I applied for 2 positions of theirs and the girl didn't tell me which one it was about, so Idunno. But the address is faaaaar away (an hour by public transport) and it's just a game tester/player support... Yea, I'm a lazy bitch.
I forgot to go to teh store today x.x I have to stop sleeping in, seriously

Although I am sleeping in, too (which means 8.30 usually) I wake up very tired. My body seems awake, but I can barely keep my eyes open.. I do not know what is up with me lately. Maybe the darkness and cold are getting on my nerves, too. Although I am actually not affected by weather changes, usually. But I am getting old :D

Even now I am thinking about different things than marriage. Yea sure, this topic is present from time to time when I talk about it with friends (as we basically all changed our views on marriage lately). One friend wants to propose to his girlfriend this year (they are together for 8 years already). They'll soon be finished with their master programmes.
But marriage is closer than children, in my mind. For my situation. Ah I dunno. I want a boyfriend.
But on the other hand I am so busy right now, I am always happy to be able to meet my friends for a few hours a week... A boyfriend does not even fit in...

I feel you with your applications. I wrote a few applications for internships, I even had to write a CV and cover letter in English (as I applied for a position in Dublin), but let's see... I think I would fit in pretty well there, but I don't know how many candidates they have.
Another company called me that they would like to have me basically, but want to meet me, but the city is... 4 hours away from where I live and they could not pay me as it is only a start-up.... Dunno, I think I won't agree. I hope Dublin takes me, then I can drop the start-up.
