I am trying to get much better :qsq:

Pencil and Paper, *or a pen* then I would scan it in and use MGI PhotoSuite 4 to color it.
But I now have a tablet, and have started to dislike my drawings even more. :qsq:

(I'm not trying to draw with the tablet not pencil and paper.)
I don't really like the look of the pixels when I try to draw on an angle or a curve, but I don't know if thats the program I'm using or just me. I dislike how pixels look. :qsq:

I guess I might have less issues with my drawings if I started to use the bamboo program, so the current drawing I'm working on is the last one I'm going to try to do in PhotoSuite. Also I should probably try and learn how to use the PhotoShop I have at some point. :qsq:

The tablet does take getting used to. Do not get discouraged but take it as motivation to use it to more until you're satisfied with the works you produce with it. I won't admit being used to Photoshop even after using it for more than 7 years. There are still things I get frustrated with when I use the tablet on Photoshop. If you would like to try a different program, though, I recommend PaintTool SAI, Painter (was it version 9 now?) or Open Canvas. They have better brushes for line work and paint-brushing, you might like them better. I mainly use Photoshop now for touch ups (lighting, colour contrast, backgrounds etc.) and final editing.

I used to be really terrible with pixels or any oekaki related art with pixels. Still bad at them, actually. xD
I find for curves and angles in pixels to look decent, there is a certain way to do them. I learned it the hard way. I recommend using the mouse if you're doing pixel stuff, though. It's very time consuming, but much, MUCH easier to handle than with a tablet.

I'm trying get over getting discouraged, witch is why I now push my self to keep drawing pictures, even if I'm not the happiest with how they are turning out. Also I have been forcing my self to post them as a reasion to keep trying to draw better. Like I said tho, I might have such problems with pixels is because the program I'm using my tablet with is from 1999. :qsweat:

And I guess just don't like how pixels look when you aren't doing a pixel drawing. >.>;

Yes they are PC only. I have tried to find other mac programs that handles this brush feature that i like, but I can only use it on Oekaki Chibi Paint. It pisses me off. If I could have this brush feature I would do more bigger photoshop like arts then my cell shading.
OK so I can kind of do it in photoshop but if I use 487428574 tools with it. = n = not fun.

What is cell shading may I ask??? I hear people use it all the time but I don't truly know what it meens.....

I don't really like to use PhotoShop. Its too many features and I have to do a lot of things threw menus. I like simple programs. there more fun. XD;
but PhotoShop is slandered in the industry. = n =;
