Eh I did a grid drawing on paper today. =_= Not much else, though. XD
-Sigh- Kasai had to go back to the vet for a 6 month check up since she's a senior now. Her kidneys, or rather kidney because it seems only one is functioning, have gotten worse. =_= Meh. Not the outcome I was hoping for. I'm sure the high protein shitty treats my parents shove down her throat constantly didn't help but apparently whatever levels they checked had still spiked up a lot more than they should, I assume even if they hadn't been feeding her junk food that was bad for her. I'm upset =_= She's only 7. We had a dog once upon a time and we ended up losing her at 3 so I was hoping the cat would've been with us much longer than that. -Flops over- Not news I wanted to hear when I was already in a grump mood...

Yea. I don't play the treat game. =_= I don't know why they keep feeding them to her. And I kinda feel like since there's so much protein in them and my parents have EXCESSIVELY fed her those for a few years now, that it might've caused her kidney's to become bad fast since I'm sure they can only handle a certain amount of protein and she was getting and overload of it. Ugh...
I'm not sure if it's like super serious right now or not but mom said the vet could refer us to a specialist to discuss things to help her be comfortable and what not.
@-@ Not quite sure what to think yet. I'm a bit anxious about what options include because if she needs more special care than the meds she's taking now, I feel like I'm going to start treating her like a fragile, hospital patient and/or try to disconnect myself from her so I might handle it better later? =_= I would prefer not to do that but it's kinda my defense for the inevitable.

I give my kitties treats, but only like once a week and they all say they're for different things (like good coat health, or dental treats). I do feed them meat sometimes if I am having chicken or turkey, but I don't give them any breading or skin, ect. I should probably regulate their catfood, but... with 5 cats that is too much work for me. @__@ besides, they are not very fat and they go outside a lot for exercise.
I do that too, disconnect so it won't hurt as bad. I really hate that I do it. :( I hope you have some decent options for her. It's always tough when pets get sick or old. ;A;

Yea we were feeding her treats that actually helped her with tartar control or whatever but then for some reason my mother started buying junk food that did nothing for her...just filler treats. I don't think we ever fed her people food. Mom gave her milk from her cereal from time to time but that's about it.
Yea, I can see how it's a big task to feed them all. We had to resort to different cat food for boyfriend's cats briefly...everyone stopped carrying the sensitive stomach food we were buying for them and they NEEDED food so we had to get them something else one or two times but since we know no one's going to be easy and have it when we get groceries, we just stop by the pet store near by to get it.
:T I've only done it once when my grandpa got sick. I wasn't particularly close to him but he was still someone we saw time to time and I couldn't stand to see him in the hospital. u.u; I didn't see him again before he passed. I feel terrible about it but I couldn't. /: I think I probably did it then since we lost our dog so suddenly and had to see her suffer for a week or so and I hadn't been prepared to lose her...actually...it was the same year...might explain why.
TwT Yea...I love my pets but I want them to stay one age forever. >: I half wish when they get a certain age there was someone you could just take them to so you didn't have to see them get old but that's so selfish. Uggghhhh -terrible for thinking it-
Kind of another occasion I wish I were a more skillful artist so I could deal with things on paper but...at the same time I feel like my art would be horrible as far as content goes. @-@ My artistic self plunged right into a pretty dark place :S
