Manga are most of the time better, because many anime are made when the manga isn't finished and so the end of the anime isn't good. For example Fruits Basket...
But I like them both and there are also series I like the anime more! ^^

Depends. If it's story based, manga, because they tend to be more detailed and more cohesive in terms of story. If it's action based, then anime, because some times, trying to figure out what's happening action wise in picture form gets confusing.

i think that if there wasnt manga then there wouldnt be anime so i think manga is a teensy weenie bit beeter

For me i like Manga~ most anime take away the funny parts of the main plot! Especially Monochrome Factor! One of the funniest manga's i've read yet!
