Has anyone seen the play version? I love both, overall the movie is better but I like how they handled Toby better in the play.

Yeah guys, let's remember that the play came first. XD You don't want to get a lot of purists on your case cuz you guys love cinematic reinterpretations so much...

I love the movie, but haven't seen the play version yet. I would really like to, I really enjoy plays.

Not sure if I am the one who questioned this once.
I always remember, because of when Sweeney and Lovett search for him, and Sweeney keeps yelling 'Toby!!' with his excellent accent.

This film is awesome. One of my favorite Johnny Depp roles, he is amazing in this film. I love the character how he is so angry and vengeful for the beloved wife and daughter whom he was wrongfully taken from. An anger which blinded him to his long lost family being right in front of him. I just love in depth characters with a passion for something they are missing or lost.

BTW to the OP, the boy's name is Toby.

I love this movie and music :qcute: I like to listen them and try to sing along.
More I watch it more it kinda creeps me but still love it.
Sweeney Todd :qlov: Johnny Depp makes awesome role here.
Tim Burton makes all my fav movies.

Loved this movie. It had a very sad background story that really got to me.
