Wow, this sounds fun. :D Maybe I'll write up my own hangout, because I'd like to chat with people who don't only post 1-2 sentence posts.

Because I want to emphasize on single subforums. Possibly make people try out communicating in subforums they usually don't look into. And because I think it works better for getting conversations going. If 20 users post all over the site, because you get double food everywhere, the change isn't noticable, because everyone posts in some random thread in some random subforum. If it is limited to one subforum, the chances are higher that people actually meet there.
(also, because it is much easier to keep an eye on just one subforum, see whether people actually post more, or whether they spam up the place.)

Neat idea. I post at least a few times a day. But hopefully this will encourage others to post as well!
