From what I've seen the shrines are the Blights round two
Hoo boy

XD Well, good to hear that you're enjoying it. My brother's interested in it as well, but he's probably waiting for me to finish playing first.

*pats*

I'll probably pass up on all of that. I've been avoiding boss fights like the plague so far.

To get this quest you gotta recover the Divine Beasts
And I hear that if you skip any of them, their Blight has to be fought in the castle before Ganny

So pretty much you'll fight them sooner or later
Just doing them in the Beasts makes them one at a time, and helps the final battle

Ugh.

Is it hard to recover the Divine Beasts btw? How would you rate it?

I've been avoiding them so far, but my skill level is pretty much where I get my butt kicked by Guardians and that Lion-Centaur regularly when I go up against them.

Dude. I haven't gone up against the Lynels yet
I'm doing better with Guardians now, I've the armor and weapons for them so they're not RUN AWAY RUN AWAY anymore. It's beat them up and get their stuff so I can upgrade upgrade upgrade
Fought a Talus or two. And a Hinox
Won't do that again if I don't have to

They all have moving stuff, so they're a pain
The Blights are all fairly easy with the Master Sword tho
Plus that needing 13+ hearts and I'd 14 when I went for it, well, that all makes them easier
So shrine up

Lso, all the mobs, from the moblins to the Lynels have different colors. Different colors means different stats
The Lynel you have to run around for Mipha's Divine Beasts is a red, as I recall. And red is the weakest
And I still refuse to take it on

The only ones I fight are from that coliseum ruins. I keep throwing down bombs until they notice me, then I jump down and kick butt. I just got good enough where I'm calm enough to dodge when they charge at me. Still have to eat a lot in battle though. XD

I fought a Talus twice, but it's the first one you encounter in the game.

I fought a Guardian once too, and a Hinox. The size of these things still scare the heck out of me, though. Yikes.

Yeah, I'm gathering clothes right now, but I hit shrines when I see them. I even went for the north-eastern maze one. I went there for that diamond accessory. XD

Tried to fight the mooks in there. Kept being killed by the Lynel using some lightning bolt or other
Jerk

But let me tell ya, the DLC armor is handy, even if you can't upgrade any of it. The Phantom Armor is actually a good early game armor
And Majora's Mask keeps moblins, bobokins, and Lynels from fighting you
Keaton has masks for one of the three, and either mask the Lynel will figure out eventually, and become pissed off, but it's still excellent for if you need to pull out a chest and there's a Lynel nearby

Also, some everlasting smartass pit a Talus against a Guardian
