I set my goal as 52 books this year. I'm using the Goodreads app to help me track it. I've done three already and now nearly done on my fourth, so I'm making good time.
I'm a little nervous about what will happen when I get to the Dostoyevsky book sitting in my reading pile though XD

I am doing the goodreads challenge this year too! and my goal is also 52 books, I have read 7 so far and I am half way done with book 8

Okay bombus time to compete 8D I always do better if I have someone to compare myself against haha.
I honestly was almost ready to punch J last night when he was like "let's turn off the lights in five minutes" and I hadn't even been able to pick up my book yet because I was doing some housework while he was getting ready for sleep

whoever counted their texts for studies towards the challenge: how do you count them? I have 100 page papers and 30 page papers. on the one hand, each paper is a finished idea (in an ideal case), on the other hand, can I count papers with such a difference the same way?

I'm reading big books and thin books and counting them the same way, so why not papers? :3

If you want to, sure!
I count manga, and that's probably even shorter than one of your short papers when you condense it all down to text!
