I thought I had some more on my messenger but I can't find them >8u
I gotta get some new pictures of them anyways u8
But yeah I love looking at cat photos and cat videos x3
Den: I added you to my watchlist on DA :3
I also have a dog named Hyde and it's even harder to get pictures of him.
But he's like...such a dramatic dog xD

personally im not much of a dog person, they just don't really fit my personality and my lifestyle. they're such a big responsibility. i feel like they require much more commitment than a cat. all pets require a lot of care and attention, don't get me wrong. i take having a pet very seriously, and independently of what pet i had i would give them everything they need and beyond. but dogs need to be walked, they often need to get groomed professionally and they're much more energetic than cats. and i clearly do not have that energy. even the most energetic cat doesn't stand a chance against a dog from my experience. i may change my mind down the road and encounter a dog that fits my personality. but for now i'll pass. i have to admit though some dogs are the cutest mfs. that i cannot deny.

I mean, it's okay to not like dogs.
I actually prefer dogs a little more than cats because they're usually goofy and clumsy just like me u8;
My dog has to be about 14 years old, yet he still acts like he's a puppy.
His sister died a couple years ago.
She was the opposite of him - very quiet, distant, and didn't care for pets.

i guess we humans just like the company of pets that reflect more who we are, and that behave in ways that are familiar to us and make us comfortable. it's curious tho, how most people have a preference for either dogs or cats.

I tend to prefer dogs over cats for the reasons I gave, but they also make good protectors.
I feel much safer owning a big scary dog.
I like most animals in general. I definitely like animals more than most people.
I'm happiest around animals so I wanted to seek a job in animal care.

I like dogs too! i agree a big dog would make me feel safer and i'd totally get one if i ever had the chance to own a big house maybe with a garden. but right now what i can afford is renting a small apartment, and cats go really well with that
i don't know why but i feel like a dog would somehow require a bigger space while a cat could live well in the two room apartment with a balcony i can afford, but it might be totally senseless

unfortunately, i don't own cats either and i don't even understand how people who rent get cats. what if i leave a super energetic kitten alone for a couple hours and it destroys the sofa? who's gonna give me my deposit back
but i will surely adopt a cat when i finish studying and become financially independent! (if i ever do,, haha)

What kind of dogs do you like :3?
I love rottweilers and dobermans and I've always wanted a husky 8u
Destroy the sofa, destroy the curtains, destroy the blinds....8u
We accidentally left one of the cats in our house when we left and she tore up our blinds.
She's mostly black and I couldn't see her because we had turned the lights off.
Came home to torn up blinds 8u

I'm content with my air plants, but I do like cats and dogs. even if I am allergic to them.

that's so cool. do you mean a job more like grooming, training, animal protection or like full on becoming a vet?
they're all pretty nice jobs. i know one of my cousins has been obsessed with becoming a vet since she was very little, but i think she opted out of that because of the amount of studies and such (she's grown to be not a very academic person

)

plants are a truly amazing alternative. since i moved out, i've been slowly collecting plants and i plan to make my apartment full of houseplants just like my old house in poland. for now i only have a few small ones. i really really want one of those plants with big leaves.

Den: I always wanted a Venus flytrap :3
kenma: I was thinking more like vet or vet assistant, but grooming and training may be better for me emotionally. If I had to put an animal down or have to witness it and tell the family, I would just bawl my eyes out.
It's not professional and I can't handle that much heartbreak.
I have groomed my own pets by cleaning them and treating them for ticks and fleas and cutting their nails.
Not sure if I can train them, though.
My dad pretty much trained all our dogs.
