Agreeing about the study, though perhaps it's because they're already immortal and just find it amusing how everyone views the afterlife and burial rituals. Especially with modern beliefs now.
Fire, you study autopsy because unclaimed corpses can mysteriously disappear when you need a fresh bit of skin or something. That, and at least you can laugh off your collection of skeletons.
