When Fred got older, we gave him to my grandma because we didn't have any space or anything to take care of a chicken.
My dad grew up on a farm and so he and my grandma knew how to care for one.

Yeah, my dad grew up in the country and lived on a farm.
He went hunting and my grandma would cook anything he brought home.
They owned some land and my dad is sad and said he wishes they still owned it.
I don't think I've ever been to a farm 8u

Farm is hard work.
My husband relatives (we are visiting them today) have a cows farm, and it's tough.
Also not very well paid.

It is hard work. I don't think I could handle working on a farm xD
Though I do like animals and would like taking care of them.
I help take care of an older dog and a bunch of cats.

x3 now that's a dream lol I love cats and dogs lol but yeah so much work XD luckily chickens are pretty easy to care for. Cows and bigger farm animals, yeah too much work for me :mcheh:
