Oh that's good, always good to have nice coworkers.
And one was with a new program the uni is starting up that provides educational opportunities for hispanic students, I'd be the admin assistant for the department. And the second was literally, the head assistant for the university president's office... twice the salary.

They both sound pretty cool tbh!
Hopefully you get one of them! Did you interview at the same time for both positions? Or separately and they're like...'Hullo again!'

No I've only applied x.x they have online applications and if they like you in paper, they they call you for an interview x.x

*nods* I was an admin assist for a different dept at the uni before. And have done the same work for two years prior.

You already worked at this same uni before? hopefully your experience will give you some advantage!

Yes hopefully, unfortunately it didn't end well because my supervisor was an asshole, so I'm afraid it'll look bad. But it's officially on record that I quit instead of fired like he wanted it to be, so that should help.

Oooh what happened? What will you say if they asked you what happened when you quit? You can make up some bs that you decided to go traveling for a while or and now your ready and really want to go back there as you enjoyed it previously or something?

I've looked up things you can say in those situations.

“Although I was hired, it was clear as the job progressed that what was expected of me and what I was hired to do were two different things." Mainly because I don't have a driver's license. And while I expressly told them that at the time I was hired, it became an issue because I couldn't run errands or drive back and forth to event venues etc.

And...

“I am interested in pursuing other possibilities within my chosen career field.”

Well yeah those reasons probably sound a bit more 'professional'
