I have honestly forgotten how much but I definately have between 200 and 400 books.

Thousands? My parents' collection is basically mine now, so yes. Thousands. Many of them have to live in boxes because we are sorely limited for shelf space.

I would estimate over a thousand. I love my books, although I someday hope to pare the collection down a bit :)

I just got a new bookshelf and I'm currently rearranging my books to fit (which they don't...)
I have piles of books all over, so I'm just going to say hundreds

Last time I counted I had around 200 books, but I've got new ones so I am not really sure.

If it's just storybooks and novels then I think less than a 100. Otherwise, bookshelf and boxes loads.

Well, it helps that I'm an adult with an actual house.... the front room has a lifted ceiling, and is floor-to-lifted-ceiling lined with built-in bookshelves. There are four 7-shelf tall stand-alone bookcases forming walls to make a front entrance. The dining room's northern wall, north half of the western wall, and north half of the eastern wall all have further built-in-bookshelves. There's another set of four 7-shelf tall stand-alone bookcases lined up along the wall (edge-in, they wouldn't all fit otherwise) closest to the kitchen. My bedroom's southern wall is more floor-to-ceiling (not lifted ceiling, though, lol) bookshelves, with two more nailed into the wall over the bed. The guest bedroom/office does not have any blank walls at all; except for a cut-out in the shelving for a window, the exact measure to open the door to the room and another door-shaped space for a closet, it's completely covered in MORE built-in bookshelves.
There are two further bookcases which are separate, but those ones are smaller, they only have room for four rows of paperbacks each (actually they are converted VHS tape cabinets, if anyone knows of/remembers those).


All of the above are filled with books. Only a FEW shelves are double-shelved, though, so it's mostly just the one layer of books in them.



However many that is.

I cant say how many books in all, since theres a lot, but on my shelf right now I count...sixty seven. Dang.
