And even though you've only looked online, I think that's a good start. Cus you can look at location, renter's reviews, and sometimes even prices and floor plans. :3 It's just time consuming and sometimes hard to tell what they're being truthful about and what they aren't. ><
My bf and I both live with our parents but we've been together such a long time that I'm really getting sick of hardly seeing each other and never getting time alone.. so I wanna move out asap, like, I'd go NOW if he'd let me. >> But I don't wanna pressure him into a place we're not sure we could afford.

Oi, I dunno if my area is considered over populated or not, but our economy in this state is one of the worst in the whole US. D;
Everyone is out of work, and those who do have it take up all the cheapest places to live.. So the few apartments I've found that might work for my BF and I, only have like, one or two openings. >> It's tough.

Oh wow! If it's cost you that much I bet you could have saved a ton! @.@" That would make moving out right now so much easier, cus then while you slowly use up some savings, you could be adding back into it and such to keep yourselves afloat for a while; if you needed to at least. ><

I want to move out too. ;A; But my problem is more my cats. It's impossible to find a decent place that allows more than 2 kitties. That and I'd not want an apartment anyways since my cats go outside a lot. =A= I can't afford to rent a house yet, at least not alone.

I am secretly hoping that this friendship I am trying to fix will eventually lead to a roommate situation, lol.

So true. It is hard to find good homes for my animals. I hate to move without them but now most places won't except pets.

yeah, it's so hard to find places that allow pets and am affordable. T_T
that's actually part of the reason why my bf and i have no pets... it makes moving easier.
