Gomen. I have been gone so long u_u;. Recently I was hit by a truck, so I had to spend some time in the hospital. I'm fine though, so no worrys n_n. Today i learned how to say Gomen from a anime, so at least i got something accoplished today n_n

Haha, I really don't know. ^_^; I'll have to review that part about na-adjectives. And check the in-game dictionary. *searches for where I put that thing*

Edit: Oh, I was trying to say "Orochi is drunk." I typed it into Google and what came up was "yopparai"... I guess that makes it an i-adjective? Bah. *confuzzled*

I thought the particle 'ha' was the 'is'
because I know that you can change the sentence to plain form, like you would use when talking with friends ect. and you would not usually use 'desu masu' (or polite form) unless you were some super polite person, like Tohru from fruits basket..


like..
if you wanted to say:
"I am going (currently) to the movie theatre with my friend"
then it would be
"tomodachi to eigakan ni itte imasu"
the particle 'to' = 'with'
the particle 'ni' = 'to' (in english).
So, directly translated, word for word, the japanese reads something like:
friend with movie theatre to going (currently) (then, am?).
so.. the word order is a little different to english...

If you wanted to not use polite form.. I don't know all that much about plain form, yet, but for example,
you could say: nani wo shimasuka. (?)
or : nani wo suru?

(all particles are in purple)

you have to change the form of the word, if you want to remove the desu/masu etc, you can't just take it off.

eg. shimasu=> suru
arimasu=> aru
kikimasu=> kiku

at least, that's how I understand it...
