I know. I quit texting because she would either send me one word replies or just wouldn't reply so I was like well whatever... since I quit sending them, she's made no effort.

I really hate when people do that. It's so infuriating. I can't hear people on the phone very well, so texting is basically my main form of communication. I hate when people are like 'text me' and you do and they put absolutely no effort into the conversation. Like, they'll just super simply answer your question and won't ask you ANY at all. I feel like I'm interviewing people sometimes.

Yeah, it really sucks. The people that looked at the roof were supposed to be here at 5. They got here at like 7:30. And then Kevin's freaking granny shows up for the second time today and bugs them as they're leaving. So they told her everything and then left! Without telling us what was going on!! How fucking rude is that? She said that they said nothing was wrong with the roof. So IDK why the bitch is leaking. It makes no sense. Or these people are fucking idiots. Then she came in the house and insulted my housekeeping yet again. Sometimes I really hate Kevin's grandparents. They're so rude! At least I got a birthday card out of this visit.

Earlier today they came over and both were insulting our messy house. AND they were insinuating that since I'm the woman I'm supposed to do all the cleaning! His pawpaw even dared to say that I needed training!! I am not a fucking dog! Someone needs to train him in some goddamned manners! And when they first got here he petted my hair. Without asking! Who does that? Especially a man to a woman!? Was this idiot raised in a barn??

I'm so exhausted and I'm going to have to spend most of my birthday cleaning. I'm not super excited about tomorrow.

Our landlord, Kevin's uncle, is flying to our house on Saturday to fix the ceiling. We have to get the house clean. Kevin's being weird. Ugh...

I never worry over my bf's family, they're all... not anyone I'd want to be friends with anyway. Like, I really don't like his dad at all, and he's the one he's the closest too.

I don't generally worry about them.
It's just upsetting because I feel like Kevin values their opinion. And if they never approve of me how is that going to affect his perception of me? Ya know?
I try not to worry about it too much.

I'm kind of tired? I think it's more emotional than anything.

But surely he wouldn't let what they think affect how he feels about you. I mean my mom talks shit about anyone I date, but I know to tune her out on matters like that.

I had a really good birthday! I think Kevin expresses his love through stuffing food in my gullet. lol

We woke up, watched a bunch of Gargoyles (which he bought me the day before), then he got me doughnuts, we went to Starbucks, drank coffee, ate doughnuts, and played a game he got for his birthday, then we went to a nice sushi restaurant where we had lots of sushi. I got two tuna nigiri, he got a mango crunch roll, and we split a 'Kentucky roll' which was extra interesting and delicious. The we went to the movies and saw Guardians of the Galaxy, where we shared a medium (but still really big) popcorn and a large cherry coke. Too much popcorn, not enough soda. The movie was really good. It did have a few teary moments, but overall it was pretty comedic. Then we went into the mall it was attached to, he got me a watermelon smoothie, without orange juice this time! lol. Then we walked around and every time we passed any sort of food vendor or restaurant he offered to get me more food. But at this point I was completely stuffed so it was a no go. Finally we went to gamestop where I had a 20% off coupon and we got three games. 1 for me, Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Cities, and 2 to share, Lego Marvel and Fable Kinect.

I had loads of fun the day before too! Even though it was rushed.

I had two buy one, get one free coupons for foods. One for icecream and one for a Mongolian Grill place. We went there, then to Barnes and Noble, and then to a cool used bookstore where Kevin bought Gargoyles season 1 and 2 for me! Yay!!

I've been doing nothing!

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. It's been hectic. lol

My mom didn't get me anything for my birthday. Nothing. Not even a card. I feel really insulted. Her excuse is that she's been sick and broke. It's not that difficult to make a card out of construction paper! Anything would have been better than nothing. Even my niece gave me a freaking coupon. I just want to know that I'm cared about. It doesn't have to be expensive. I mean, I've ALWAYS gotten her some kind of gift. Something.

And then she drunk texted me all last night. I went to bed early cuz I wasn't feeling well. I woke up and told her to chill out. Ugh. Why can't I have a normal mom? I know she's not as bad as a lot of people's moms, but I'm still upset.


So this morning I woke up alll kinds of fucked up. I can barely move. It's like my shoulders and neck were soldered together and won't go anywhere without massive amounts of pain. I can't look up, turn my head, or extend my arms completely. Ugh.
