It was snowing in the morning here today. It was super pretty fluffy snow. :O It looked just like snow on cards and posters do. Sadly it didn't stick. :<

It snowed here a few days ago. It's super nice out today.

@ Moi- pfft I like your art D:

@ Floofy- welcome to my world, LOL. Colorado is like that all the time. You become accustomed to wearing layers and always having a coat. XD

@Saloiq: It was pretty fluffy snow. It didn't really stick either. The lot is just slushy mush now. xD

@Raine: XD Haha. Every time they call for snow here, I just kinda laugh at them because it rarely every gets cold enough to. Guess I was wrong this time. It only snowed for about an hour, though, and the sun came out for a little bit before it started going down so some of the snow melted off of stuff.

I usually wear a coat wherever I go anyway. x3

@Moi: >: Aw. We usually only get a tiny bit every few years.

o.o Clover's being a clingy little kitty to me today...she usually doesn't ever want anything to do with me but she hopped up on the couch and laid on my lap for a little while. Oh and...we think the vet lied...again. Boyfriend suspects that she STILL has worms. -Sigh- They're totally giving us free meds. Two times and two different vets we've had her treated and they both said that she was clean. ):<

It wouldn't surprise me if they lied.
But maybe something else is wrong?
If they tested for worms, they'd probably not look for anything else?

The place we took our dogs to told us my dog Hyde had heartworms.
Then we wanted to get him some more chews and they told us we'd have to bring him in to be tested.
They're the ones who already told us he had them.
They just wanted more money :\

It snows here all the time. :( Which is stupid cause you think it'd make it less dry here, but noooo. Dry freezing cold snow almost year round. ;A;
Apparently tomorrow is supposed to be 'nice' here and then snow all next week. *cry* I want summertimez now plz.

My cats are being annoying lately. D: In and out every 5 minutes! jerks!

That sucks about the vets you guys have gone to. :( I feel lucky that the one I go to tries their best to save me money. When Knoxx broke his paw they avoided the xrays by doing other tests for free to see if he might have had a fluid build up instead. (I ended up needing one x-ray, but I thought it was nice that they tried to avoid it). And even after we saw it was broken they were honest enough to say that he'd probably be fine without a cast if we wanted to save money. ;w;

I've never really taken a pet to the vet.
Usually if they get sick, we nurse them back to health ourselves.
I remember one time this vet office wanted $100 just to CHECK a puppy to see if it was sick.
Any idiot could tell it was sick >>

Aww. I try to care for my animals on my own, but sometimes if I get worried I take them to get checked out. Like with Knoxx, his paw was swollen so it was hard to tell if it was a bite that filled with fluid or if it was broken.

Mostly though I only visit the vet if they stop eating. That's when I get REALLY worried. D:

Speaking of cat worries.
My newest cat, Grimmsley... his tail is like. weird. It's kinda kinked in this one spot and when you move the fur there's a few spots that look like he was bitten. His tail was kinked since he showed up here, but those little wounds worry me since they don't appear to be healing very fast. =\ He cleans them sometimes, but I'm being all worried-cat-momma that it might get infected.

@Moi: >: I'm kinda worrying that it might be. Hoping that it isn't because I don't want something else to be wrong with her (not to mention the funds x.x; ).

/: Yea our vet has done several things that I know they're just trying to get some extra money from. I honestly think it's just that one friggin' woman there because with boyfriend's little baby, Loki, she said he needed a splint for his leg when he was a kitten because she claimed there was a hairline fracture there.I was extremely hesitant about it since he would have needed anesthesia just to get a splint and he was a little kitten, I didn't want something to go wrong and lose him, so we said no to the splint and just kept him confined for a while so he couldn't jump around and hurt himself.

Took him back later for a check up and we got a guy and he was like 'Well I don't know why he would've needed a splint. You can't even see anything there'. So I think that one woman just tries to scam us out of our money. (She's extremely insensitive as well. I get those doctors deal with every thing in the book every day, but she made my mother cry when we took the family cat about her failing kidneys...)

@Raine: D: Jeez, that sounds awful. I know my grandparents have snow just about all year up in NY. They leave almost right beside one of the lakes, too, though. XD

Aw. Kasai is usually like that. She hasn't been for a while since she's been ill. She still wants out now and then but she mostly wants to sleep on the table...or the printer for some reason.

/: Yea. I can understand the one vet. They're at the shelter and kinda do for lower income people. But we also had to drop a fecal sample off to them and it had been there all weekend cos we didn't know that they were closed whatever day we took it so I can see how maybe they got a bad reading from that. But a second time? I don't get it. Boyfriend wants to take them up there and have them both tested and have the VET give them the meds there so we can't say they didn't get enough meds in them. (They were awful when we tried to give them the medicine x.x UGH)

x.x I'm an extremely paranoid pet owner. We've prolly taken Loki several times when we didn't really need to. >: I just wanna be sure they're all alright TwT

D: Aw. Sorry to hear that, Raine. Around Christmas 2 years ago, Kasai randomly had a bad sore on her hip or wherever it was. o.o We had no idea where it came from but we kinda thought she might've gotten in a scuffle with one of the strays around the woods. I also kinda thought it looked like a burn as if she had accidentally sat on mom's curling iron after she unplugged it and left (Kasai makes me really nervous bopping around the counter when everyone has the hot irons on x.x ) I hope he's ok, though. >:

My cat came home one day with part of his ear missing ._.

I plan on being a vet assistant.
I won't work with people who want money or don't care about the animals.
