But it doesn't want to eat the final product; you have to pay it in anchovies instead.

hmmm maybe what you have is an elegant white bird of paradise which you have trained to make deliveries for you. Nothing says class like such a spectacular avian carrying a ribbon-wrapped parcel in gold foil!
