Lately my sister's been saying she doesn't like crowds and she's easily embarrassed.
My aunt keeps telling her it's wrong to be that way, and telling me to make her enjoy those things.

Oh no! That's too bad. But it's not something you can turn on or off. It might be good to get exposed to crowds in small dosages to get you two used to it but it's definitely going to be hard work.
Not sure if I agree with it being "wrong", either. It's definitely going to make some aspects of your lives more difficult. But I don't know about "wrong".

Yes, but my family doesn't get that.
My mom used to say I NEEDED to enjoy parties and reunions and such.
I still HATE those, and I don't feel bad or wrong xD
I get no enjoyment out of being around so many people.
Only thing I may enjoy is food.
And even then, I want to eat by myself.
But I can see how it's good to get used to social things.
I still freak the hell out, but it's better than it used to be xD;

Oh, I can understand. My parents used to tell me I need to stop being depressed. lol And at the same time, that I needed to stop taking my depression meds because watching me take them was making them depressed. And yet, all the allergy pills and supplements I take they don't bat an eye at, even though you couldn't tell what they are unless you were standing behind me reading all the labels. Those supplements pills are MUCH bigger, too.
Well, baby steps. 
I'm not very social, either. I just glue myself to one person, basically. Usually someone I know. If that's not an option, another person sitting by themself. And then we sit and make small talk for a bit and then sit in silence together. lol

It's easier if I have someone else with me.
Even if it's my little sister.
My parents are very friendly and will start up conversations with strangers and have no issues.

Yeah, most definitely. The sticking-to-one-stranger-who's-also-a-loner is the last resort when my more social friend finds other people to talk to.
lol "But you broke your leg! You can't walk away on that! I'll call an ambulance for you and we can talk while we wait for it to come."

I don't even answer the front door.
A family member was knocking yesterday and I told my aunt and she asked who it was.
I said "A woman in black. -leaves-"
I've heard all kinds of things about strangers entering your home when you open the door >~>

I don't do that either unless it's someone I know at the door.
I liked it when we used to have those bar thingies that prevent doors from opening more than a crack so you can keep people outside but still talk to them. Now I sneak to the window and just peak at them and then sneak away before I'm seen if I don't know who that is.
"Oh shit I love pizza too. I'll go with you!"

You ever seen the show called Untold Stories from the ER?
There was an episode where a man walked into the ER witch a hatchet in the back of his head.
They thought it was a prank because it was Halloween so the doctor tried to pull it out and saw it was real xD
