I don't think mine disappoints me as much as confuse me, with her trying to eat all the fruit in the house, and preferring to sleep upside down like a bat...
I mean I got her at a shelter, so she could be a fruit bat disguised as a cat?

Oh man. You dropping things and it sucking up everything reminded me of a story. Someone's poor dog pooped inside the house. And the Roomba sucked up the poop...and continued to "clean" the house. You can imagine how that worked out.....

How do they act uncatlike? :mcshock:

Hahah, that sounds cute. xD I didn't realize cats could eat fruit.

I didn't either, the old family cat we had would never even think of touching fruit, but this little lady goes absolutely nuts for it, and I can't have it to myself

That's the horror story I was talking about with the roomba!

I dunno, I guess they act quite catlike in that they do what they want and only what they want. The don't chase the laser - they stare at it and try to pretend they don't care. They're 10, 10 and soon to be 3, I suppose they're old and crotchety in their cat ways.

Your cat eats fruit? My dogs do but my cats turn their noses up at anything of the like.

That's exactly why I will never ever have a roomba!

I have a cat who loves crisp green things. So cucumber, honeydew, watermelon rind, etc.

Awww man! Next cat goal = one that likes veggies :P My puppies eat all sorts of veggies and fruit, I make sure it's safe for them but I can't eat much of anything without having to share.

Lily:
Yes, a cat that likes fruit, anything fruity and sweet, especially apricot
I couldn't tell you why though, as I have absolutely no clue
Definitely not in any of the cat books and guides in the library or on the internet :/

neither of my cats like fruit but one of the (Abner) goes mad for olives!

I have been told by Vets that cats don't taste sweet, I don't believe it though.
