Thank you.
I don't often use lighting
layers, but after this, I might.
I didn't do anything to fancy tbh. I duplicated a layer and made it
to multiply and then erased some bits on the multiply layer
to make this lighting effect.
Since the original background color I had was blue I just duplicated that layer.

I wish I had saved a lot of my old work to compare.
My sister is drawing a lot now.
She gets upset and says she's not good and gets angry when people say they don't like certain things she does.
I told her to keep at it so she can improve and to consider what people have to say if it's helpful. If it's not, ignore them. And you don't HAVE to listen to anyone.
My dad and cousins could draw. I would draw and mine would look bad net to theirs and I'd cry and cry and cry.
My family told me to keep trying.
And I learned it's better to not grade your work by looking at others'.
"Why am I not that good?" "I'll never be that good!"
There are no rules to art. You draw because it makes you happy. In the end, art is an expression. And an explosion.
