I don't mind, it's just that i'm used to looking at the screen now. Yeah, I didn't think it was hard to draw on the tablet either. It just took some getting used to.

Mine is around that age too or older. XD It still works fine so I haven't felt like replacing it.

I haven't had to replace my pen either. I don't use it very often so maybe that has something to do with it.

Make sure the tip isn't flat. It will scratch up your tablet.
My first pen disappeared.
Then my second got wet.
Then my third broke.
Then my fourth broke.

It still has like a point in the tip. I don't think it's scratching it.
I'm surprised my pen hasn't been lost yet. The cats would knock it over often.

Mine is inspired by this adorable game i've been playing on my phone lately. It has animals and is sorta Alice in Wonderland themed.
