@Ashiya: I think your general style anatomy-wise changes but your overall coloring method stays consistent. In any case, I don't think that having a style that changes is necessarily a bad thing.

I have never really drawn properly in a tablet before. I've only had a tablet once (if you don't count an SP4 since I never used that one as a tablet but a laptop) and have always found it difficult to draw with just my fingers. How is it with your iPad though? I've seen some videos of the Apple pencil years back when it was newly released and it seemed pretty good for a stylus.

As for commission work, it's a combination of bumping my thread often (your thread can get pushed down to the second page in just 30 minutes or less; depending on the traffic) and scouring for people who are looking for commissions. Even then, it's still difficult to find commissioners. I had to do a promotional sale last month just so I could get some customers and ensure that I could pay for all my monthly expenses;;;

Ahhhh I'm sorry to hear that. I wish I can be of help but I've never really had my own pet. I mean we have dogs at home. Even some chickens too but they all stay outside the house since my dad hates having fur and whatnot all over the place. They're mainly his pets anyway. He got them while I was away from home too.

It's probably just a practice thing? Do you flip faces even on your sketch, by any chance?

Yeah. Most of the time I can't quit though. I have to finish them since they're comms but I don't really like the piece per se. I was lucky to have a commissioner who allowed me to experiment a bit on my coloring earlier this year though since I had some kind of breakthrough from then.

I do quit a lot of my personal stuff though. I find that most of the time I don't really know what I should draw for myself. Like there's nothing that really strikes me and stuff. That's probably a sign that I should do more art studies or something;;;

It's just something that happens. Loved ones die. It hurts, but I love getting and raising them xD
My cat shed a lot. Like we still have her fur everywhere.
We have some community cats that we feed and love on.
I picked this one up that's friendly with us and I had one of his furs on my shirt xD

I don't flip them when I draw traditionally. I should. I get frustrated and don't want to draw anymore xD;

I take forever to finish commissions. Usually because I get frustrated and can't art right so I stop drawing at all.
Because I don't like rushing and making art that I don't care much for.
It seems immoral to give someone art I didn't think was good enough for them.

I get random ideas that I sketch. I get a lot of creativity drought, though.
And it SUCKS xD

this is the first time i'll be participating.

Not sure it's really up to you.
I just want to post my prompt as I am curious if anyone
will use it and I am kinda tired of keeping my instagram set to private.

I have the biggest following on DA, so I usually don't post art much on other sites.
But if Instagram really likes art, maybe I'll post there too.
I know I have a Tumblr and a Twitter, but since Tumblr sucks now I don't post much art there anymore.

There are tons of artists on instagram.
I follow over 600 artists on there.

I'm trying not to post my Inktober prompt until i finish the first prompt of inktober. Since i started early. Though it's almost done. So I probably will post it maybe...Midnight tonight.

I honestly do not have a following at all hardly lol.
so we'll see how it goes.
I'm not really expecting much at all for this.
But i do want to share mine in case people are having trouble
finding prompts they like/to follow.

I won't post my Goretober because I know most people don't like gore xD;

I don't have a big following either.
Most of my stuff gets 2 favorites at the most.

I had a dream last night that I posted art and it had over 7,000 likes and comments.
I was so excited, but I was too scared to read the comments because people can be mean xD

It's pretty big on instagram
as well as twitter. I am not big on tumblr
so I am mostly into using twitter or instagram.

Though only my family+1 friend follows me.
so only around 7 people. and mostly i get on average 3-4 likes.
So my following is very ity bity.

I'll try. I'm not sure if any of my ideas are very well executed.

If there are mean comments in reality of my stuff i plan to delete and block.
If it's not constructive then they are most likely a troll of some sort
or just trying to make you feel bad.

I feel flat colors would not do this particular piece justice.
